I do not have any equity in my home, because of a refinance. i am retiring on a disability pension... am i required to pay taxes on it? i am currently receiving social security disability & know i do not have to claim the pension (to social security) as it is considered unearned income. the pension i will be receiving is not state, federal or government in nature, however i will be retiring about 16 years before my full retirement age.
