  1. My favorite is www.retireweb.com
  2. Try www.ricedelman.com Ric Edelman is a personal financial advisor in the DC area and has an excellent web site along with several good books.
  3. The web sites I like are: Motley Fool www.fool.com Fidelity www.fidelity.com Both have tutorials and resources to learn about retirement planning. The Notley Fool has a lot of articles that address the basics of retirement planning and investment instruments. However, it does a lot of self-advertising, i.e. you have to subscribe and pay to get to the premium stuff. I like Fidelity's retire planning tools which lets you input all your current assets, estimated future income until retirement and your estimated retirement needs. Then, it will let you simulate how much you need to invest, and depending on your risk aversion, it will give you an estimate of how likely you will be able to attain your retirement goals. For example, the simulation might say that you have a 90% change to retire with an annual income of $50,000 under one scenario, and a $50% chance of retiring with $75,000 under another scenario.
