Christchurch Retirement:?
Someone who lives in Christchurch would probally be the best to answer this question!!!! What would be the best location for retirement in Christchurch taking into account our age, facilities, and housing. I am presently living in Europe:

- Why dont u see the Sunday journals that advertise Homes for Sr. Citizens in Christchurch?
- Tai Tapu, Christchurch is a lovely village. Also Halswell is a nice suburb within easy reach of all the cities amenities.
- You could try Sumner for the beach, Kareiki( just outside kaiapoi)for the fishing [or Auckland for the cost]
- Sumner beach is the best!
- I'm puzzled as to why you've choosen Christchurch to retire when there are some many other beautiful places in the world to choose from. Yes, Christchurch is such a beautiful place to live, but it can get extremely cold during the winter season. Christchurch is definitely a place to come & visit, as you can have loads of fun there, but if I was personally retiring, then I'd want to be somewhere where its going to be warmer most of the year round.....like some topical island.....
