Are you planning on a retirement of catfood caserole?

...or something else?

  1. something else ,,,, retiring to the sun
  2. that is Republican
  3. Sounds pretty good! I eat mostly beans and rice though cause cat food is expensive.
  4. My income will be cut when I retire - a lot. I will definitely have to pinch pennies, but I think I can do it. I can be pretty frugal. I don't plan to eat catfood - I'll leave that for the cats. (They will NOT go hungry!) However, I'll be eating beans, mac and cheese, pasta, etc. There won't be too many restaurant meals, and I'll have to watch my food budget. Coupons, leftovers, ice-tea instead of soda, etc. I think what makes it tough for many senior citizens is the cost of health care and medicines, if they aren't covered by Medicare. The home may be paid for, or the mortgage fairly low, but the cost of utilities continues to rise. And of course, home repairs are inevitable, eventually. But I suspect I'll manage somehow without the catfood casserole. I can stretch a can of Chicken of the Sea tuna a long way, in casseroles or salads.
