Does anyone know of a good online "retirement calculator" that helps you figure out how much you need to save?

- CNNMoney: http://cgi.money.cnn.com/tools/retirementplanner/retirementplanner.jsp Bloomberg: http://www.bloomberg.com/invest/calculators/retire.html AARP: http://sites.stockpoint.com/aarp_rc/wm/Retirement/Retirement.asp?act=LOGIN and there are others. They all calculate a little differently. My approach is to make sure they all say I'm in good shape.
- www.watrustonline.com Click on "Online Tools" on the toolbar then "Online Calculators." The third header is "Retirement Calculators" You can choose from several options to help you with this question.
- You do not need calculators. The rule is is that you should save a percentage of your salary equal to half your age when you start. Eg. if you start at 30, you should save 15% until you retire. This includes what your employer contributes.
