Teenager: How to save/spend my part-time job money?
Well I get my first paycheck today from my part-time job, and I do not know how much to save and how much I can keep for myself. What can kind things should I be saving for? And how much % of each?

- if you want to look at it as adult and you sound like one so i will give you an adult answer == you need a rainy day savings plan that will cover 3-6 months in case you are not working --than you need a savings amount to cover something you do not need but want say 6 months from now -- a dress to wear to the prom -- than i would think about putting some toward my retirement not much but you will be 55 before you realize it -- what left spend -- let break it down like this. 6% rainy day 10 % long term needs 5/% retirement if you are working where taxes are taken out you can open a roth ira for as little as $28.00 i did it for my niece -- you will need a picture id and ss and an adult to act as trustee keep thinking the way you are now and you will never be broke!!!
