I am trying to save money for an Xbox 360?

I am currently saving money. I am trying to make at least $400, but I only have about $10 in the box. It is a metallic container with a combination that only my mom knows. I asked her to put in $5 each week, so at least I will make some progress. I have already needed money, about $5, from the box to see a movie. How am I going to be able to save it if I am always in need of money when I have hardly any? I want to be able to save the money, so when I start doing jobs and putting over $50 in each week, I don't decide that I need a new game for my Ps2 that I will obviously get bored of and end up selling for a little under half the price I bought it for. How, exactly, am I supposed to make sure that the money I am saving isn't going to come out when I am desperate? Note: Anyone that tries to advertise, or even speaks of, an online money making website WILL be reported.

  1. Wow, you get your mom to give you five bucks a week? Wow. You could always try self-control, that tends to work good for people willing to meet goals they set for themselves. Get a job, spend little, and work hard, that is the way society rolls and you should begin rolling that way before you end up asking your mom for money when you're older.
  2. how about, you get your mom to keep the box, and you sell your ps2, that way, you'll get your money faster, or control yourslef, if you're that needy of a new game, them maybe do extra chores for money, or hang out with your friends without spending any loot. =]
