  1. by earning it .........
  2. You have to find ways not to spend money or at least not as much. Clip coupons, buy generic, drink more water instead of soda. Have a friend cut your hair instead of paying for a salon to cut it. Put off buying things until absolutly necessary. Walk or ride a bike instead of driving. Turn the heat down a couple of degrees or the air conditioning up a couple of degrees. Make sure you turn the lights off. Car pool. The list can go on and on and on. Use your imagination to come up with ways to save money.
  3. It's all about wants and needs, get what you need cheaper, cut out the wants (at least until you get some savings)
  4. Well its simple. Take $10 per week and put it in a savings account. Forget that the money is there. Even if you are desperate for cash just leave it alone. Organize credit cards by interest. Pay off the highest interest rates first. Do not make minimum payments. Pay at least an extra $5 - $20 per payment. Paying minimums will take you forever to pay off those cards. Develop a budget. Do you really need to eat out twice a week or can you get by with just once or twice a month? Do you really need to have the biggest cable TV package or can you get by with just basic cable. Do you really need that massive SUV or can you trade it in for something smaller that has much better gas mileage? If you are a smoker, STOP smoking. $6 per pack is one heck of a lot of wasted money. Cut everything and I do mean everything back to the bare minimum that you can live with. Pay off credit cards as fast as you can and ignore the savings account that you put that $10 per week into. Give it 5 years like that and you should owe $0 on your credit cards and have over $2600 in savings. Now take the money you would have been paying on credit cards and put it in your savings account. The amount you save will sky rocket.
  5. When you get paid, set aside an amount or % of your pay in a seperate account. Only use it for emergencies. It is quite simple to do if you have direct deposit. Do a little amount at first & then move up the amount little by little. Before you know it you will have a chunk saved up!
  6. Create a budget and see where your money is going. After that makes changes (phone, electric, etc) for example I unplugged things I didnt use and I switched to a lower phone plan. After you free up the extra money then or if you had money to free up in the first place then set aside a certain percentage to put in a online savings.
