When is the best time to shop for Christmas gifts and save money?

I usually start my Christmas shopping the week of Christmas and settle with the left overs. Well, I want to do it different this year. Do anyone know when is the best time to shop and save?

1. right now and look for deals but really after Halloween there are also good sales..
2. January. That is when they have stock take sales.
3. The end of December, or the beginning of January, for NEXT Christmas. Great time to buy Christmas ornaments too !

5. Most things can be bought all year long. I have found, though, that it's better to wait until close to xmas for music gifts because my kids seem to like a different band every month.
6. I have 6 children so I start VERY early in the year, and stockpile the best deals I find. I recommend you look into your local Salvation Army stores, as I often find things still with original tags on them (not just clothes either!), and other discount stores. The best thing about this is that as each one of their birthdays roles around, if we are short on cash, I can gather some presents from the stockpile ;)
7. I do my best shopping right after Christmas for the next year..Then by March I am usually all done
8. start saving now and be done by the start of december. its just easier that way.
9. I am pretty much knows whose I have to buy for and what they like. I still wrote their names down in the list. When I went shopping, I find good stuff see stuff that are on sale. If I don't mind to have for myself, sometime I bought the extra ones. When I came home I leave them in their bags, and write out the list of who I should give that present to. Then I mark on the name list, and mark down the kind of the present I just bought. After Christmas is the best time to start that. Make sure you have a secret small place with a lock to it, to keep all these stuff. Sometime I just give it to the person for birthday or their special days.
10. January is not a good time to shop at all retailers prey on income tax recipients try any time during the summer. Even then prices always fall so you will most likely see it for less than you paid.
11. either now or after summer sale or fall sale but nexttime just do it after end of the year sale
12. Pick up a little all year, and put them away. Shopping will be less stressful and you won't have to spend a big amount of money all at once.

14. this year start now!! for next year just when christmas finishes, that way you can save lots of money!! If you tatally think there would be nothing left start before a few months when there is sale!

18. I usually buy things through out the year that way I have the time to find things for everyone on my list. That way when December rolls around I can actually enjoy the holiday instead of running out in the crowds trying to shop.
