How can I save money if I just want to spend it all the time?

- You've gotta be kidding here, right? No amount of money will overcome a complete lack of self-discipline when it comes to spending. You have to make decisions about what is really important to you and then sacrifice the things that are not.
- Force yourself to save!!! If your employer offers a 401K, contribute to that. It comes automatically out of your pay before taxes. Another thing people do to force themselves to save money is ourchase a cash value life insurance policy. You will be paying "another bill", but a portion of the premium will go into the cash value. It will force you to save for yourself.
- Before you can save money, you have to make sure you AREN'T spending it all. The best way to do this is to set up a monthly budget. This will let you know how much money is coming in and how much is going out. If you have money left over after the bills are paid, you can determine how much you can both save AND spend. If you have $200 left over, save $100 and spend $100. That way you are curbing your spending without restricting yourself too much to want to save. If that doesn't give you enough spending money, then it's obvious that you are spending too much and you need to seriously rethink the way you view money.
- Poor People spend less than $50,000 a year. Rich People spend more than $500,000 a year. Do you want to spend $50,000 a year or less until you die or do you want to spend $500,000 a year or more until you die? Which kind of person are you? Poor or Rich If you are poor and you want to die poor keep spending all your money. If you are poor and you want to die rich stop spending and start saving today.
