I just want to pass some time playing games should I buy PS2 or XBOX 360. I would like to save money?

1. Personally I wouldn't buy the 360 until the price lowers and all the glitch issues are fixed...so I would go with the ps2. They are still making new games...but then again think about the ps3 coming out soon...and the fact it'll be 500 bucks... Consider all options I say!
2. well ps2 is very good but xbox360 isnt well the xbox360 depending on what store u go to is usually anywhere from $500-$700 and the ps2 is usually again $80-120 that is a huge difference and the xbox three-sixty has had alot of recalls and dosent have much games where as the play station 2 has tons like sponge bob kingdom hearts sonic sims tons hope i helped and i would very much appreciate if you would consider picking me as best answer!
3. For a casual gamer looking to save $$, the PS2 is definately the stronger choice due to the recent price drop to $129. Even the basic XBOX still costs more. New PS2 games are still coming out and will continue to do so for at least another year or two. Plus you can buy used PS2 games (or even the really old PS-One games) on eBay for next to nothing.
