retirement oz

Who Should retire more Barry Bonds or Brett Favre?

both are geisers and both are expected to be great-grandparents soon not to mention they are tinting their legacy unless bonds surpasses Aaron.

  1. Barry Bonds-people still love brett favre
  2. Favre needs to hang it up. He doesn't have "IT" anymore. Bonds is still plugging away and is playing to a normal high level.
  3. They are both at the tail end of great careers. If you can hold on for a year or two they will both be gone.
  4. Both need to hang it up. Bonds is a cheater, and Favre just isn't any good anymore.
  5. Both, but for different reasons. Barry Bonds needs to retire because although he is still an attraction in baseball, his production as a player has gone down considerably, regardless of what he's doing this year. Brett Favre just looked horrible the last couple of seasons. The careers of these guys shouldn't be defined by one year, good or bad. But sadly, the name of the game is "What have you done for me lately". And as it relates to Bonds and Favre, the answer is "Not Much".
  6. Barry Bonds should retire immediately. Brett Favre is a true athlete and deserves a chance to win a championship until he thinks he can't. I hope bonds breaks his femur before he breaks the home run record because he doesn't deserve to play in the MLB. He is a disgrace to the record books if he wins. Plus, Favre still has fans.
  7. favre
  8. Barry Bonds- he's old and no one likes him...plus he's a cheater. GO YANKEES!!! =)
  9. Barry Bonds needs to just quit every time you turn on ESPN its always him breaking the record or steroids this... JUST LEAVE the game nobody cares if you break the record Hank will still be the best you will just be the annoying pest that got on top by cheating. Once he gets the record he will retire because that's all he wants. i think everyone stopped caring about the record along time ago. Hes the most hated person in the USA under George W Bush
  10. You left out the third possibility from this list and my personal choice.....Roger Clemens. At least Bonds and Favre can still play an entire season and attend all of their teams games.
  11. brett favre.. seeing him keep playing is sad, really sad, knowing with 1 one hit he could get seriously hurt. at least bonds can hit a ball and jog.
  12. i would have to say Brett fave i love fave but he's not going to see another super bowl for along time and time is not on his side. bonds still has at least 2 years left in him and he is chasing the biggest record in sports, and i would love to witness a piece of history . the point im trying to make is that fave holds alot of records and has super bowl rings, bonds also holds records but until he gets the home run record he's not going anywhere. it's also great entertainment
  13. Barry bonds because I don't want him to pass Hank Aaron's record
  14. Barry Bonds - he should've been gone a long time ago. Can't stand him.
  15. Both should retire in the near future because they are both close to huge career records. Bond is obviously going for the home run record and that is all he cares about and Farve who has giving us the idea a retiring for the last couple of season is going for the most consecutive games started. So I would expect to see them both retire in the very near future.
  16. Bonds! He's tired. LOL
