When do the people retire in U.S? 60?
My husband is working at oil company as a lawyer and I'm wondering when he could be retire? By now he's 55. I dont' wanna ask him as I dont' want him depressed. He may know it. but i just dont wanna ask him.

- 65 but it also depends on how long you work at the company for some companies are different. 65 is when you collect SS.
- It is 65 yrs. old. Does he have a good pension? If he does he could retire, but if he retires to early, Idon't think he could collect his retirement,and SSI, medical,etc...Until he reaches 65.
