I love Jamaica and my very best friend in the whole wide world loves Dominican Republic. Where should we retire?

- If those are your choices. You might want to try living there for a couple of months each.Not just the good months....The hot summer and the rainy season. Check the medical facilities.old folks need medical/hospital stuff. there is a site called 'CIA The World Factbook' which will give you a lot of info about each country. I would rather have Hawaii.you have that American flag protecting you. Good luck
- Australia! Best place in the world. Low crime, good health system, nice people, pleanty of opportunities and lots of beautiful and interesting places.
- You should check out Cuernavaca, Mexico. It has a very mild climate year-round, in fact most of the houses feature "outdoor living" where your bedroom and bathroom are the only "rooms" that have walls. You are 45 minutes from Mexico City for travel opportunities and you're about 1 hour away from Acapulco. The city is good sized, but not really big (500k people) and they have some beautiful homes to rent or buy. Also, two more good things that go for anywhere in Mexico, cheap cost of living and great food.
