If you could retire today, where would you choose, and why?

1. somewhere in the mediterranean because it's warm and a classy and exotic place.
2. Ventura, California. Don't know why but it just feels like home.
3. Any place with my husband because as long as he is there its home.
4. I would move to Alaska where the rest of my family lives. Right now there is nothing for me to do there for a fulfilling career, but if I didn't have to worry about that I would go. Both my sisters have two children I don't get to see and my mother is there and time is slipping away. ( If I could retire with that million dollars, that would be even better!)
5. I would choose a remote island preferably in the Bahamas that has a small population. The climate and clear, turquoise waters are ideal - like paradise. The small population would provide a closer family atmosphere. The remoteness would empower me to release more of my creativity.
