Did Bernie Williams retire from baseball? Where is he now?

- no he didn't retire. he's waiting for the yankees to give him a call. bernie didn't make the team because there was too many players so now hes home waiting for the yankees to call him
- No, he is waiting for a call from the Yankees. Recently, he is on tour with his music and home to spend more time with his kids. The last concert was in the Bronx, which is near his home in Westchester County, New York. I believe he will wear the pinstripes next year.
- just this weekend he was in nyc playing guitar... no more baseball.
- He didn't retire. He just couldn't get a new contract
- According to Boras (his agent) he is not retired but will only return to the MLB as a Yankee. As a Yankee fan and as much as it hurts to say it... he's probably all done. With all the prospects in AAA who are 80% + ready, I don't see them ever bringing him back.
- Yup, I heard the same thing as others. He won't play for anyone else but the Yanks...and he's just waiting for the call. He never "officially" retired but I'm pretty sure he's done. P.S. But I miss him. He is a true Yankee. Every time he went up to bat, the crowd would chant "Bernie! Bernie! Bernie!"
- He is not retired. He is a free agent.
