How can I retire early and live meagerly?
I want to retire @ 54 and know it is a stretch. I want to travel the US in an RV and see "every" little thing??? How do I accomplish this?

- change your view of retiring and work as you need to while traveling. you could have some very interesting experiences and meet local people.
- There are ways to accomplish this, I think there's a book out actually about all these people who managed to save tons of money for retirement even when they had very little salary. I saw it on Oprah a very long time ago. One thing I do remember is that they always filled out rebate forms, I think its like 80% of people who dont bother doing that. Anyway, there are tips like that, but most people said they just learned to give up a lot of little things that they wanted in the short term like gum or coffee in order to save for the bigger things. It can require a lot of sacrifice, imagine not seeing a movie with your friends cause you wanted to save money. That said, its doable, depending on how old you are, but you have to take into account whats really important to you, and that there might be unexpected emergencys along the way, like you get in accident and have to get the RV fixed or something happens with your health, etc. You might want to see about working part time and going traveling part time, or finding a job where you can work from online from your RV. Whatever you decide, good luck and congrats on going after your dreams.
