1. It does indeed. If they continued to pay it to you., then they would take the amount they pay you from your state pension. You just can't win.
2. Yes, if you are no longer able or willing to work then you would no longer be eligible for benefits of an injured worker in most cases. Check with your insurance carrier as to what the rules are about retirement during a case. You would still have medical coverage for the injury and treatment.
