retirement oz

Should he retire?

Bill Cower is the longest tenured coach in the NFL. He has been the only coach to remain with a team wince the 92 season. He is considering retirement (possibly for a year before going to another team for more money). Should he retire (either perminantly or for a year) or should the Steelers cough out enough $$ to keep him happy?

  1. Get rid of him. Screw the steelers.
  2. the steelers arent going to find a better coach..so pay him...thoujgh cowher may just want a break for awhile, do some fishin'
  3. i think he should retire that is my opinion:)
  4. Please Bill, go to Miami. Pittsburgh is a crappy place. You got another 5-10 years in sunny south florida. Plus, it is a major market. Please Bill, please...
  5. The fans are obligated to pay him as much money as his heart desires.
  6. It is Cowher and he should take a break and get that much-needed chin-reduction surgery
  7. He will retire, but come back probably to another team in a couple of years. Being from Pittsburgh it is all I hear about, time to move on and watch the Penguins while we still have them in town.

  9. He should take a year off & then return to a new team. He is an excellent coach and needs a new challenge.
  10. He has gone to the AFC Championship game with Neil O'Donnel, Kordell Stewart & Ben Rothlisberger - 3 of the most mediocre quarterbacks in the NFL in the past 2 decades. Not giving this guy enough money will ruin the franchise. But maybe he doesn't care for the money and just wants time off. Try to get him to be an elder statesman for a young coach then.
