retirement oz

Will Steve Yzerman retire and should he?

Stevie has been playing for 24 years, is it time for him to retire or should he stick it out one more year? He did get injured at the end of the season and it seemed as though the Wings kind of gave up without him playing...will this effect them if he retires? Do you think Stevie would ever consider a coaching position somewhere other than Detroit?

  1. ya cuz hes old and a pu$$y
  2. yes it is time..he has nothing left to prove...
  3. Well he's having doubts about if he should quit, so I think that's a sign that he's not ready to leave yet. He's still healthy, he played really well during this season and the playoffs, I think he should come back, he's still one of the best leaders ever, he's a great guy to have in the dressing room no matter how he is playing on the ice. I say he should stick around. I could totally see him behind the bench as a coach one day though, don't you think he could do a lot with the Ottawa Senators?
  4. Broke my hearth but I think Steevie Y have to retired because it's look so hard to played in the last series. I prefere to miss Steevie Y than to see him again playing injured.
  5. i have been a wings fan for 13 years and the way he was playing the last 20 games and in the playoffs was great + he was injured for like 20 games i still think he has the talent to continue at his age ... i really think he could go for 1 more season is a shame if it deosnt poor him id love to see him win 1 more cup--->leadership is a key to the cup
