- It's your decision.
- Im 36 and working my *** off to retire as soon as possible. There are plenty of things to do after work. If you can retire then enjoy your life and do so
- it depends on if you have enough money to retire on. if your set go for it
- I would retire now at 28 if I could afford it!!!! Can you afford to retire then? If so, do it!
- Hell no, it's not too young. You should be so lucky to retire so young. I would retire right now if I could (i'm 40)
- This is a Joke, Right??
- If you can afford it why not..and if retirement became boring you can always find something to do.
- If you have your finances in order, go for it. The only reasons not to do so other than financial would be: 1. You love your job. 2. You would be bored with nothing to do. Personally, I would retire right now if I could, and do all those things that I never have time to do.
- No 52 is not too young. If that's what you feel that you want do,then do it.Its a lot of people wishing that they could retire at an early age.
- I'm 60 and retired in 2000. No it's not too young to stop working. Make sure you have enough income to keep you in the life-style you want ... if that's important to you - at least make sure you're not so broke you have NO choices. Believe me; you can live very well on not much. Have a bit of a plan of what you want to do with your time. Have a raison d'être - if you don't have one of those you'll die of boredom - I never get bored - in fact there aren't enough hours in the day. The importance of having some goals for after you retire is that when you achieve one goal you really need a coupla others lurking in the background or on the side-lines you can swing to. There’s nothing worse than attaining a goal and feeling the loss and emptiness which quickly follows. It makes sense when you think all your attention and energies are going into this one project and suddenly the project is no more – the attention and energy still needs some place top go. I think I’m making some sense in there somewhere. I’ve got goals that reach out at least 4 or 5 years. Oh, writing them down can help you focus, too.
- if you can afford to do so -- go for it. you never know how long you're going to live so if you can enjoy.
- Not if you got enough money to.
