What would you do with your life if you were fairly young (40) and had enough money to retire ($5 million)?

- I would do what I loved, and volunteer.
- 10 chicks at the same time. PC load letter?
- Buy a Landcruiser and a caravan and see the country. Cheers :-)
- That is not enough money to retire.
- I would continue doing exactly what I'm doing, and go to school and live where I'm living. I'd be unemployed so I can concentrate on my studies. At age 40 though, I'm sure I won't be in school. After school, if I had that much money, I'd fly to France and become fluent. Then I'd to China, Spain, Australia, Mexico, so many other places. I'd live very easily. But will I be happy?
- open a fast foods restaurant like mcdonalds are doing great, we make like 6000.00 dollars a day easy well t depend on the location .and don't worry the foods that u get are cheap . so i'll say open a business cause the business would produce mone and the money can't produce more money . so just open a damn business first. for restaurant as long as ur clean (health department won't bother u )and would be less crap and build up . don't worry i'll be ur supervisor too i worked there since i was 15 now 23 wow
- helping people.
- I am fairly young, just 50+, and I have more then enough money to retire, Over 5 million thanks to my retirement check, my 401k's, and my stocks. And as far as what am I doing. Well lets just say I'm happy and there are a lot of women in my life who help keep me that way. And I also have a raise coming in a few more years, That's when my social security kicks in and I begin receiving checks from my ROTH.
- If your claiming 40 is young, which may be the case. Then put that $5m into a bank, watch the intrest rise and live off of that till 45 maybe 50. The when you have enough money do whaterver you've wished for all of your life. There is no point in saving for your whole life to then give it to someone else in your will!
- Move to the Dominican Republic...invest 3.5 million ...and keep the 1.5 for ur self....collect about 10,000(pesos) per month in interest from investment.
- Take a year off work to see if I really want to retire. My company offers a 1 year unpaid leave of absence.
