where in US is an inexpensive place for a woman by herself a good place to retire? Townhouse or home?
I am a young retiree, slightly disabeled, looking for a warm place to retire. Can't decide on retirement "center" or a townhome. Too young for a nursing home but need to be around other people. Any ideas?

- I don't know what climate you are in now but Erwin, Tn is one of the top rated places for retirement. It's not too warn in the winter but it sure is beautiful. Just a few miles from North Carloina and the Appalachian Trail, Erwin is a small town but big on personality. Good Luck!
