I am receiving 30 grand in tax free inheritance. I am older & in college but have no retirement. ? w/$-ideas?

I also have college aged and high school aged child. Would like to set up something small for them.

4. Everyone has their own unique situation. There are investment strategies that can multiply that money for your retirement and your kids college. If you dont save it.. you spend it and its like it never existed, so be careful. My mother got something like that once, and burned through it in 3 months. Talk to a qualified, professional, human investment advisor in your area. I would also recommend going through the Crown Ministries "How to manage your money" program, just to get the most of your current income & set up a sustainable lifestyle. Its a team atmosphere, its relatively safe, and its rock solid material. I would also recomend you read "Sound Mind investing" its a solid book with very reasonable very understandable content.
