need decoration ideas for a retirement party for a female hair stylist?

1. When I became an Educator, my mother bought me flowers that were so beautiful, I wish I could show you the pictures. She went around for days taking my things, like combs and brushes, perm rods, mixing bowls and brushes for color, foil and everything else I use every day. They had the florist incorporate them into this amazing flower arrangement and gave them to me. I will never forget it, it was so cute we all had tears in our eyes. You could make smaller ones to put on the tables and cut place mats into the shape of a hand mirror. That would be cute. I hope this helped. Good luck and have a good time!
2. The only idea I have would be to cut shapes out of colored construction paper. You might be able to find ideas at a beauty supply store.
3. After standing for years and cutting hair for 12 hrs a day I know that I would have liked something to do with a foot massage and to sit with my feet up and a cocktail in my hand .
