Has anyone ever thrown a party at Dave and Busters?
Have you ever thrown a party at Dave and Busters? I'm thinking about throwing a retirement/birthday party there and was wondering how the food and service was in relation to the price. Do you think it would be a good idea to throw a retirement party there if there is a good mixture of ages/sexes attending?

- We had a holiday party there for our staff. However they ordered very generous portions of appitizes for all to share. We had lots of age ranges so there was something there for everyone. Service is an 8 out of 10.. They always seem to be running around a lot and soemtimes forget things, extra napkins when asked. It has to be a pretty big party for them to reseve seating in their dining room.
- One of my cousins threw a party at Dave and Busters for ... I forget for whom. It was expensive but we had a good time. Unfortuantely the service was lacking. I had to go the bar to get my own beer -- several times. Now, should you throw a retirement party there? Hmm, depends on how young at heart the retiree-to-be is. I think it's kinda different to do that, but gauge the person's personality. Would they LIKE that? If so, then go for it (but request a good server).
- I threw a Christmas party for my staff at work, and we all loved the event. There was more than enough food for everyone. We order the mexican buffet- very good. I also found out that you can save a little cash and purchase game cards for as many people as you choose. I would highly recommend Dave and Busters- matter of fact, we are thinking of having a summer party there as well.
- no, but i would love too!
- no i've been there but i've never thrown a party there would love 2 but i haven't YET
- My niece had a birthday party for her son's eight birthday . It was really good time. Because there were so many people they set up a buffet style with lots of stuff like hot dogs, chicken, fries, burgers, chicken wings. just tell them what you want to spend. They are very accommodating. They even include tokens for all the games..
- My friend just had his birthday party there, and he said that renting the party room was pretty expensive. There were something like 16 of us, we just showed up and sat in the restaurant (they put us near the bar at a long table). Everyone paid their own way, that's how we do that for parties. It was pretty cool, we had a good time. The food was great. I have gone to a party where someone had the buffet and reserved a room, the food was pretty good, and she didn't have as many people come as she thought so there was a lot of food left over. She practically begged us to take it home. But if you think the people will enjoy the arcade then go for it.
