I need help finding a unique gift idea...?
My fiance and I would like to give our fathers a nice personal gift as a thank you for our wedding. The wedding is next Saturday and it's crunch time. Any unique ideas are appreciated! Thank You!

- Their own special photo albums of the wedding.
- Well if your dad's are into fishing or golf then I would say get some personalized pieces for their hobby of choice. If the budget is not that great look around the house and find some old photo's of you and your dad and your husband and his dad at a young age, that would touch their hearts, blow it up and frame it.
- You say you need help on getting personal gifts.. but you didnt tell us anything about them? Try making a memory book/ scrapbook for your dad. Pictures of you two together, things you remember about childhood etc. Your hubby can do the same but i'm sure he'll need your help. LOTS of it.
- How about a nice pair of cufflinks with their initials engraved? It's personal and unique. If you have the money, Tiffany's has some nice ones: http://www.tiffany.com/search/search_results.aspx?search_params=t+cufflinks-s+0-p+1-l+-h+-c+-r+-x+
- A personal letter of thanks to each of your fathers is the most treasured thing you could ever give them. I guarantee you that they will keep and read often your loving sentiments!
- What about cuff links to wear to the wedding...and you can get a personal message engraved on them. Maybe a watch or a ring...and you can also engrave those with personal messages. Good Luck! Congrats on your engagement and up coming wedding!
- You don't say anything about their personalities. Always consider WHO they are when trying to find a unique gift... For example my dad loves Harley's (not much unique in that) so I'd try and figure out what he might like that would be unique for him and his personalities... Perhaps an inlarged framed picture of he and I on his motorcylcle when I was smaller...
- I agree with the others. We can probably not help you with this as its personal and unique and that requires you to give us some background.
- How much are you willing to spend? If they don't already, buy a cheap digital camera: http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=IZONE310&cat=CAM and a cheap digital photo frame: http://www.pcrichard.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=59809&parentCategoryId=3&categoryId=130000&subCategoryId=130040& And tell them to document their experience with the wedding. With a forever changing keep sake and a digital camera to booth.
- My dad very much enjoyed an engraved pocket watch. You can try www.theknot.com and thingsremembered.com to see if you have enough time for an engraved gift. they seem so much more personal.
- definately depends on the dad.... if they work in an office, a picture of dad & happy couple in a silver frame ... beer drinkers might like a personalized beer stein.... your best bet is things remembered for something engraveable.
- If you do want a truly unique gift, try http://www.chimesofyourlife.com/Weddingwindchimes.html You will not be disappointed. They personalize wind chimes with your feelings, whatever you want to say. They have different size chimes, different colors, you can choose the shape of your wind sail, its great !! gave one to my mom, she loved it. They really do a great job.
- a mug that has something like fater of the bride(or groom) with your names & wedding date on
