good ideas for a home business?

I recently had a baby and i'm looking for good moneymaking ideas that i can do from home on my computer or locally. I prefer making and selling things such as gift baskets and crafts, but I need some ideas and marketing ideas. Ebay is a definite option, but would purchasing my own website and advertising work better? Add links if you know of any good crafting sites and please give me any advice you have for a good business.

  1. sell unique things to chinese, they love them.
  2. I'd just set up a web site and have a my space and 360 and feed in to your self - the gift basket idea is great - you can send our fliers, advertise in a local paper - send one to someone so they say "wow where did that come from" and at first you spend $ to make $. Word of mouth is a beautiful thing and sell what you make what didn't 'sell' on e-bay and have a store.
  3. Join me in my business, I work from home full time and help people like you to get started. Just check one of my businesses at the link list as source. The "My World Movie" will expain the business and the "My World Benefits" is what I world full time. Bob
  4. This one site provide a complete work at home directory ideas for people who are searching for work at home. They have lots of information from all sort of companies that are offering letigimate work at home. If you are interest in selling, also check this website out. It has numbers of Wholesalers who are offering dropshipping which mean you dont need to carry any inventories. All you do is sell their products and they will ship the products to your customers. They also have a lot of opportunities for moms. Check it out, it doesn't hurt looking through...The more information or ideas you have...the better you will be. don't jump to anything you don't know and can't afford. You can always ask the company to send out information to you and find out more about them and see what other people have to said. Here is the link: http://www.bestnethomebusiness.com

  9. Hi Melanie, Congratulations on your new baby - what a blessing! You definitely should be able to work at home. The fact that you are crafty is a plus. I haven't done ebay yet myself, but have thought about trying to start by just selling a few things around the house that I never use. Some people do well with ebay and some don't. I like the website idea. If you look at my website http://www.chocolate-candy-mall.com you will see that you could build a site initially without making the actual products yourself if you like. Once you have it set up and established some traffic you can then add your "store" to take orders and sell. I may do that eventually, but right now I don't have the extra time, nor do I want the hassle. I really didn't have the first idea about how to build a website or anything else, but the program that I found, SBI, I really love. They taught me step by step and had all the tools already available at my fingertips. They've got a free online course for work at home mom's. Here is the link http://wahm-masters.sitesell.com/Angie5.html It really helped me see what I could do. I wish you all the best. Treasure your new treasure. =)
  10. Best opportunity out there. I know of people making 300k a year in residual income and they only have been doing it for 1.5 years. You can earn up to 30k a week eventually. Company has 6000 members. Will be at around 100k at year end. Estimate to be at 5 Million in 5 years. Talk about timing. The most amazing product in the financial market today. Investors are lining up to invest with this strategy because its making such high returns. Don't even have to sell the business. You sell the product because once people use the product and see how amazing it is they can't keep their mouth shut and tell everyone. Watch the business video in the upper right corner and let me know what you think. You can email me. www.freedomrocksnetwork.com
  11. Hi, I saw your question and just had to share. I work at home and I use my computer and phone. I have been with this team and company for 5 years and would love to share it with you. You seem to have drive and determinations and those are the type of people that I look for. I am a mentor for a team called Work at Home United. We give all the training, the tools and support you need to build your home business. We don't do any kind of crafts though. I would love to get you the details and then you can decide if it would work for you. Just go to my website of course browse through it and request info. Make sure to put in a good time and I will call you then. It only takes 30 minutes to get the details. www.helpingothers2succeed.com
  12. Check out www.craftlister.com This is a place to advertise products and events. You can even check out a Yahoo! Group called the mompack. It's a great place to network and advertise. Also, search your local area for networking groups. They help in getting your name and products out there. Yahoo! does offer websites that aren't expensive, and they come with domain name and email. Best Wishes! ~Kristina

  14. I too have two children and was looking for a way to work from home also. My friend shared with me an awesome business called Two Sisters Gourmet. I also enjoy crafts, etc. I make up gift bags for my customers to buy with the gourmet food and I make good money doing it. People enjoy being able to take home a gift bag the same night they come to a cooking experience. Just take a look at the website www.twosistersgourmet.net/web/jbariteau You won't find any negative information about this business. I have been rewarded time and time again and the people are awesome.
