Home Business?

I'm a stay-at-home mom who is looking to start a business, but I don't know what would be a good home business to start. Any ideas?

  1. Do you love jewelry? If so, I would suggest you check into Lia Sophia Jewelry as a possibility. You would earn 30% of what you sell and you set your own work schedule! Our nationwide show average is about $750 which means you can potentially earn $225 per show. The average show takes approximately 3-4 hours and that includes setup and completing the ordering process. How would you like to work only 4 nights a month to make $900.00? An average lia sophia show is $750. You would make 30% or $225/night. We are looking for talented, motivated women, who need flexibility, a great income and unlimited potential! You can enjoy a business that offers: • Terrific Profit Potential • Flexible Hours • Personal Discounts • Amazing Incentives You can also earn cash bonuses, FREE products, incredible incentive trips and MORE! 5. Mary Kay may be an option for you. Low start up costs. Very flexible (you set your own schedule), no quotas so you can work several hours a day, a week, a month or even just a few a year and that's fine. You make 1/2 of everything you sell and can earn a free car within four months of becoming a consultant if you choose. The lease payment is paid for two years (at which time you earn a new car), they also pay license, taxes and fees and 87% of your auto insurance. The product has been around since 1963 and has been the #1 brand of skin care and color cosmetics since 1993. All products are 100% guaranteed so with all of that the product sells itself so it's easy to find and keep loyal customers.

  15. My advice? Don't do something because it promises "unlimited income potential!" I mean, it's great if something has "potential", but really there's only potential if you are willing to put in the work. And you are only going to want to put in the work for something that you LOVE doing. In short, figure out what you are passionate about. Then design your business plan around THAT. You are much more likely to be successful that way. Personally, I'm a web freak. And I love homemaking, cooking, all of that. I also love to write. I just launched my website this past week, and it works for me. But with this business, it's a slow process. You might not make any income for six months. I put the "about us" page in the source if you want to read about how I came about the idea. Quicker, of course, is if you sell a product. But beware--you need to LOVE your product and be comfortable with your selling options. For instance, I hate home parties. I am a distributor of gourmet food mixes, and it's great because they allow me to sample it at craft shows and things like that. I live in a metro area where there are lots of events going on, so this really works for me. I also absolutely adore food. The food network is on right up until my husband gets home from work. :) The next "section" on my website is going to be about cooking, and I am so excited. So what are you passionate about? Gardening? Electronics? Reading? I think once you figure that out, you'll be on your way to starting an exciting, profitable home business.
  16. A low cost business to start up is being a virtual assistant. I don't know if you have office skills, typing, bookkeeping or anything you can do over the computer. I'm a work at home mom and I'm a virtual assistant and I work around my kids.
