Do you have any ideas for a home business? I would like to stay home with my kids, but be able to support us.
I also wouldn't mind working for a company, which would allow me to work from home. Any ideas...can you help point in the right direction? Thanks

- Yes. My first point of advice, is do not click on ANY links that this question will soon be flooded with. They are all scammers who will ask you to pay them, and promise that they will eventually pay you to do some mundane or easy sounding task. They never will. Ignore them all. Next, go to a few employment agencies and tell them what you're looking for. They may have a client who is willing to let you work from home right off the bat, or they may set you up with a company that you need to work for for three to six months and then you'll be allowed to work from home. Even if what they pay you is just over enough to pay for daycare for your kids, but will allow you to work from home after a few months, that becomes very profitable in the long run. Good luck to you. Edit: To Mr. Frank Laforte, of 16 Mayflower Ave, Escondido, CA: Why, exactly, does your company's website (as contained in your YA profile) directly point to another company's website? Why isn't your company (which is unnamed according to my whois search) actually responsible for anything you're trying to peddle? Why is the company that IS responsible unregistered with the Better Business Bureau? Why does that company have six DBA classifications? Why does that company's website contain references to "E Global Partner - one of the world’s largest Co-op affiliations on the Internet." as one of its partners, which is also unregistered with the Better Business Bureau? If you are such a success story, why was your website registered only 32 days ago? Why does the company whose website yours is linked to have a registered address that goes back to a three-bedroom residentially-zoned HOUSE owned by someone completely different than the business owner? Amazing what a fifth grade education will do, eh?
- I own an on line travel agency through a great company. I love it! I get the best commissions, awesome tax benefits and nice travel credentials. The parent company has excellent training, support, and mentoring. My main job is to get people to use my website. Its not hard, I hand out business cards, flyers, put lettering on my van, and use the internet to advertise. Be warned there are a lot of scams out there. Many will try to get you because of your question. Do your homework. Check with the BBB and the government agencies. Look at what your hobbies/interests are and see if you can do something related to them. Have a great day and good luck in whatever you do.
- Are you an organized soul? We have seen a demand in our woodsy area for folks to enter an office or home and organize it. Though you would need to have your children watched elsewhere when at the job, however this would allow you to set your own hours. Other thoughts are buying lots of stuff at yard sales and tossing them on ebay. I sold real estate for years and LOVED it, now though I have returned to my work shoppe for I am a happier person (though my bank account is not as happy haha) Real Estate is a great career with loads of $$$ potential and most often my appointment were just a few hours in the evening or a few hours at a bank during the afternoon. Much of the work I did at home, the start up cost is so low for what you can earn. Have you started a list of possibilities? Do you enjoy making widgets or see yourself as a Service provider instead? Day care? Adult Day Care? Create meals for the Freezer in a clients home? (Lots of demand here for this) Gardening? Christmas Craft shows coming up?? A good tool is the business plan. Possibly choose 3 business choices you can picture happiness with and do a 'simple' plan to see what it takes to get what you need. SCORE, BIC and many government agencies as well as banks offer advice with this. Economy Development in your area may also have suggestions. If you want other ideas or help with a plan feel free to email me :) I am a big believer in self sufficiency and support local businesses when able. I used to volunteer at BIC, SBA & SCORE to assist folks with start ups and business plans. Business Plan outlines may be found at http://www.score.org/template_gallery.html more info also at: http://www.sba.gov/smallbusinessplanner/index.html The state you live in should also have information on their website. the above sites usually have success stories, reading them may awaken thoughts for you :) Bright Blessings to you!

- In response to DAVID V ......Your ignorance is showing when you opt to make such a blanket statement. I suggest you do some needed research before you touch the keys again. All are scams? Shall we compare paychecks, does your company or employer give 11% plus to charity right off the top ? I doubt it. David , I guess a 5th grade education doesn't go as far as it used to these days!Thank God school will be starting soon. Wave to me as you and the yellow bus your riding passing my Home . Thank you ,David V. Have a nice day, even though I still think you'll have to climb a few rungs of the ladder to reach that moron level! Just my opinion! Don't like it ? sorry

No need to wait for a pay check in the mail! Feel free to check out my websites... www.brownbagparty.com/3649 and www.bedroomsizzle.com. - Hi, I am a Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay, Inc. This is a business that you are the CEO of and the decisions that you make are yours. You work it the way you see fit. The best part is that you are with a company that rewards you for your success. The tax deductions are a great asset as well. It doesn't cost a lot to get started. If you need more information don't hesitate to send me an email.
