- they have a lot of stuff on marthastewart.com with really cool stuff. last year my friends threw a party at their house and i helped with the decoration, we just went all out with the decorations, changed all the lights to black, and all the fun stuff. the only thing i suggest is just go all out with the food decoration, then it'll come all together. check out that martha site as well as foodnetwork.com, they have really creepy and fun snacks that you can easily make for the food. and you can buy a cauldrin and make sangria. good luck and enjoy your party, hope it's a hit~!!
- Hell
- Where nothing but a saran wrap when greeting guest.
- Just decorate with stuff that is dark and creppy and also anything that looks like blood
- I have a couple ideas that have been major successes in the past..... Halloween Airblowns are awesome. They plug into an outlet in the wall and a fan keeps them inflated. I have an 8ft pupmkin stack and it is awesome. i also have an 8ft frankenstein and a 4ft single pumpkin. These are always a hit and are sure to be a photo opp for everyone there. You can buy them at Walmart, Target, Party Stores, etc. Animated body parts, candy bowls, etc are also great. A crawling arm, talking tombstone, crystal ball with a head in it, etc....they are sure to be a hit as well. As a side note, you could get "scene setters" which are pre-printed rolls of paper that you put on your wall to make it look like a graveyard or something spooky.
- Is the party outside? An inexspensive thing to do if so, you could take a nail and hammer and put a bunch of holes into old coffee cans. Paint black or orange, and place a candle inside each one as a lighted path or walkway. If you have a BigLots store, they have very reasonable prices witches brooms, and they are really cute, I think they were only 2 dollars a pices, and put them in some kind of bucket painted black, attach a sign that say's "Witches Parking," Cheesecloth draped over a tablecoth would give it that halloweeny look. (You can get this at Wal-mart) With some white spray paint, and 3 pumpkins and a dowl rod, you can create a pumpkin ghost. Just place the dowl rod in the largest pumpkin, place on top of that the next largest one, and place a smaller one on the very top. SPray paint white and drape with some sheer fabric. Get fake body parts and stuff them into old flower pots or in the bathtub near the drain to look like its coming up out of. Good luck with the party, and have fun.
