Green Day Retiring?

Is Green Day going to retire, magazines have said that they will be retiring.

10. They aren't retiring. They are one of the best bands on this earth. They just made a huge come back after all of these years; there is no way in hell they are retiring.
11. I Love Green day but i heard that Green day were going to split if American Idiot didn't do well but obviously it did so they didn't split up but i haven't heard that they are going to split now. I Hope that aren't but they are recording a new album at the moment.
12. no.. nowhere offical have they themselves made a statement that they were retiring... theyre kinda working on a new album now, and i can state for a fact that those magazines are wrong..
