When Jay Leno Retires, and Conan Takes Over the Tonight Show?

do you think Conan will have to abandon his quirky sketches ? That's the reason I love Conan, I'd hate to see a different type of show.

2. What ever gave you the remotest notion that Conan would even be considered?????
3. I am sure the network will require him to tone things down a bit. And throw out some of that trademark "quirk." However, you are right, his sketches with the band and such are what have made him famous. It will be a shame to see them go.
4. I think it depends on the state of NBC at that time. If NBC is doing bad they might give Conan some room because he would probably be the best thing on the network. If NBC is doing good they might still give him some room but not as much. NBC knew when they gave Conan the job he wouldn't get ratings if he changed his format too much. And for the people who didn't know, Conan was confirmed as the tonight show's next host in 2004 or 2005. He will take over in May of 09'.
5. I couldn't believe what a stupid decision they made to have Conan replace Jay. Conan has his own show with his own brand of humor. The Tonight show should have an upcoming, yet proven, comedian to take the Tonight Show through a new view of events. I'm afraid Conan will be viewed as 'old-school'.
