Is mexico a good place to retire ,if so what town is best.?

I would like to know more about mexico.

  1. It is. The people are great. There is a beautiful town on the shores of lake Chapala, in Jalisco called Ajijic. It mainly inhabited by U.S. Army veterans. It has a marvelous weather and view, most services are bilingual and you're less than half an hour away from an International Airport and the second largest city in Mexico (Guadalajara)
  2. It is a good place to retire if you are recieving pension or govt benefits (in other words steady income) I went recently to Boca del Rio, Veracruz. It was beautiful. I am from the US and they had beautiful homes in a nice crime free area.
