Are we going to be in trouble because of baby boomers retiring?
Seems like all the talent is retiring, if not now , within the next few years. I don't see as much new talent being hired. What's going to happen? Will the workload go up for those that can do a particular job well. Or will companies just hire many incompetent people and expect things to be smooth sailing. What happened to OTJT and apprenticeship programs? I think we are doomed. All jobs and work will be offloaded to China and India. Or?

- I cannot begin to say how much I concur with this sentiment....I am in college now to get into the medical field (doctor) so I can have an in-demand career that cannot be outsourced....I think the people in gen-x and gen-y are absolute morons who can't even spell "know" on yahoo answers or the difference between "your" and "you're" People in India and China are more capable and cheaper than Americans, so don't expect corporations to turn to gen-x'ers or gen-y'ers as the baby-boomers retire over the next 10-15 years....The younger generations in America are too cool to go become a doctor or engineer, because we all know only nerds are educated - cool people work at McDonald's
