Bob Barker Retired - Rosie to take his place?

First, I have watched Bob Barker since he was on "Truth or Consequences". I do not watch the "Price is Right" every day, but have seen a few hundred shows. I wrote to Mr. Barker and he sent me an autographed photo with him and one of his pets. I have seen his dark hair turn white over the years. The other day I heard that he had endorsed Rosie O'Donnell to replace him, but that was a response to a question that was presented to him. I think Rosie would be a disaster and would end the show. I also think that because Mr. Barker is leaving the show is doomed in the first place. Do you think Rosie can carry that show? Not because she is a woman and I admit that I can't think of a man to take his place either. I think the show will fold because really folks, Bob Barker and "The Price is Right" go hand in hand. It is like any show where the main character leaves and the show fails. Rosie and her loud mouth would be the end of the show. Who do you think is qualified to take his place?

2. yeah i actually heard it was not open to females...also i think you are right on this being the end of the show... how can you watch price is right without bob? you just cant its over.
3. I agree. If Rosie were to take Bobs place, the show will go down the tubes for sure! Even if they do find someone else to do the show, it still won't ever be the same. I have watched the Price Is Right since I was Six years old, they will never be able to find someone that can fill Bobs shoes. But anyone would be better than Rosie!

5. No, I don't think Rosie is a good choice - she's too politically minded and dark....the show needs a warm, likeable person - so to answer your last question, "anyone but Rosie O'Donnell...."

I don't think the show will do well without bob barker. thats why people go to the show, for him, the last reason someone would go on that show is for the prizes, people watch it bc of him. i agree the show is doomed. i dont think anyone is qualified to take his place, but i think dave coulier (from full house) would be an interesting replacement, but i don't think anyone will last......

Give me strength, The only thing as disturbing to me as this is the announcement that NBC has offered the Hilton family 1Mil for an interview on the Today Show with Paris when she gets out of jail, Sorry I'm off subject, maybe paris and rosie could do a show together and we could all watch something else!
