8. Absolutely yes, actually our Government is promoting our country as a retirement haven. If you have enough savings you buy yourself a real estate property near a beach or a farm lot were you can relax and enjoy. Prices of commodities here are very cheap. We have excellent private hospitals here, which is one of the cheapest in the World should you need medical help. We have the friendliest and most hospitable people who always willing to help you.

11. It's a good idea. The exchange rate for peso to dollar right now would make you live comfortably. The locals are very nice people. One thing you should know about the culture is that they take care of their own so if you have a local partner then you don't have to worry about being alone or lonely. These people are so family oriented. When it comes to expenses the prices are reasonable and you would have more than enough left of your monthly pension to tour around the country. It's a very nice country really and contrary to what a lot of people say about slum areas there's a lot of places that would compete with the beauty you can see in other countries. If you are the farming type you can farm there. Lots of business opportunities too. Good luck..

13. it's a good idea even for foreigners who will only get 500 dollars a month retirement money because everything is so cheap when you have dollars... but ofcourse, be careful and choose a good place for yourself because foreigners will always look like tourists to most people.
