I am now retired in the Philippines.I never missed voting in the US. Can I be an absentee voter ? How ?

- i don't know but please don't. i don't need you influencing my living conditions since you left and don't have to suffer like i might.
- Get a box at the RAO, register you address at the US Embassy in Manila, they have a form there, pretty easy. Also, join one of the veteran's groups there, FRA, VFW or my favorite, the American Legion. The guys there will help you stay up on stateside events. I know this because I just moved back to the states after living in Olongapo City for the last 3.5 years. Have fun, but watch out for relatives looking to empty your house and wallet.
- Never missed voting in the US but don't have a clue. Ever hear the term ABSENTEE BALLOT..............Duh!!!!!!! Now, that's really being an educated voter, I'm impressed.
- Yes...I think so if you are an American citizen you can be registered, and be out of the country....check with a registration office how to do it. Lots of Americans are out of the country...like military wives, etc. and can still vote. Check with them.
