texting overseas with cingular PLZ help?
I'm thinking about adding texting to my family plan [cingular] I want to text overseas to burma /singapore ,is that part of the plan ..can I text overseas? and if i do will i be charged extra for overseas?

- You will be charges extra. but you can text overseas if you have international capability on your phone. I can't recall the rate off hand but you will be charged for what you send but they also have a pkg that can give you cheaper rates. I hope i help
- Yes. You will be charged more. I was texting my boyfriend, who is in Venezuela, and it was over $.50 per text (about 5 times the cost to text to someone in the US). I believe it depends where you are sending the text to, so be sure to check the at&t (it isn't cingulair anymore) website. http://www.wireless.att.com
