3. Yes if you plan on starting a new career. Then you'd be set, a lifetime pension plus your salary!
4. Depends on what they are offering you. Is it at least close to the pay you would receive if you didn't take the early out? Most importantly, is it enough to comfortably live on? Sometimes what is the best deciding factor is how you feel - all of us would love to retire early enough to enjoy life for a while before our health gives out and we can't..... only you can make the right decision for yourself and your family.
