Will Brett Favre retire?
Brett is my favorite QB of all time. Do you think he will retire after this year?
Public Comments
- i think so
- Yes this time he will retire. This is his final season. I like Brett as well.. don't know if he is my favorite but definitely in consideraton.
- he will never ever retire!
- i think he will, he has had a remarkable career and i think he lead his team to the playoffs next year and then retire
- ya but that will only because he'll beat dan marinos records which is awesome and he will be the best, until payton retires.
- for sure. the packers did nothing to improve an 8-8 team from last year in the draft this year. they are not going to get any better, and if he doesn't get one more shot at the playoffs, aaron rodgers is waiting to take over next year. count on it.
- He has the ability to play for at least a few more years. However, the Packers invested a first round pick in Aaron Rodgers and want him to start going. With the lack of a running game, and no help around the ball in terms of WR, he is going to get knocked around. If he survives, with good stats, and the Pack wants to pay - yes he will keep playing as long as his family lets him.
- Yes, when he's 65.
- After this last year i believe so... He really thinks his team has a shot at the playoffs/superbowl SO We will see how he does :-) But after this season definetly....
- eventually, we were a fumble away from the playoffs GO PACK GO!
- I HATE TO SAY IT, BUT YES I THINK THIS WILL BE HIS LAST SEASON. IT WILL BE A SAD DAY IN THE NFL WHEN HE DOES. I LOVE BRETT FAVRE, I THINK HE IS STILL THE GREATEST QB IN THE NFL. I JUST HOPE THIS WILL BE HIS SEASON FOR ONE MORE WIN! #1 PACKER - CHEESEHEAD FOR LIFE!!
- he need to cause there nothing he could do for green bay anymore.
- Nope, i heard he's already considering playing next year.
- I think he knows now that cheese is for pigs...
- he will if he knows what's good for him
- if he doesnt retire after this year, then ill kill myself the only old players i dont want to see retire soon is WR Rod Smith and S John Lynch both of the denver broncos
- i think brett will retire after this year. he does have a couple years left in the tank, but the team is very young and he was offered very little help for his offense. sooner or later i have a feeling this guy will get injured, and when this happens, it might be devastating to a guy of his age. i love brett too, he'll be deeply missed once he leaves. i think this will be his last year, unfortunately due to an injury. if he doesnt get injured, he might be around for another year after that.
- Not ever certain... If his receivers don't give him much help, he'll wish he did retire!
- Probably, but he puts a lot of his decision on what his family wants. So it's tough to say. I think if the Packers make the playoffs and show a lot of potential. He'll most likely come back. He can still play the game and is one of the better QBs in the league. I don't get all the smack talk about him being too old. He's the same age as Trent Green and people want him as their QB. But I think people who don't see a lot of NFC central games get sick of hearing about him and retirement. But once he is gone everyone will realize he was a great throwback player that doesn't come around all that often.
- even though I'm an eagle fan, I still think Brett Favre is one of the best QB's out there, But like they say, all good things must come to an end.
- If they go into the playoffs this year or have a good year for the most part i think he will retire because he will be leaving on a good note. its really up to him. i think he will play this year and maybe one more but you never know with him. hes full of surprises and has had alot of bad stuff happen to him lately but he still keeps going(his dad dying, his wife being sick, ect) I do know there will be alot of people sad to see him go when he finally does retire though..lets hope he does something really great this year and goes out with a bang..otherwise hey he can just stick around forever..haha..
