Did Brett Favre retire after the football season (06/07)???

My husband says he didn't and that he will be back, playing for the Packers, but I swear I read that he retired...whats the truth?

  1. He didn't retire
  2. nope, he's coming back. this will probably be his last year though.
  3. He didn't retire. Hes back for his 17th season ALL with the packers
  4. Brett Farve will not retire, he keeps saying he will but his heart say's don't. And hey, people say you need to a be young player to play football but in that case why Farve is still playin'. I don't believe age is a factor in sports because that's for the weak minded.
  5. No he hasn't.... Probably should... But hes still going
  6. try researching before you ask your next question.
  7. Bretts comming back this year. Too bad that homo ted thompson didnt give him anything to work with on offence. Oh and keegan...He was a falcon his rookie season...DUH!
  8. no he is still playing
  9. no
  10. No, he didn't retire. He'll be back for '07-'08 season. It's all about money, you know.
  11. He's coming back as the starter, not as the backup, as someone mentioned.
  12. Hes coming back
  13. Favre did not retire, although the water cooler talk after every year since 2004 has been of retirement, the man can and still wants to play. Even though he has enough on his hall of fame resume (3 MVP, a SB ring, numerous #1 or #2 record standings) he is driven to play like many greats of any game, i.e. Roger Clemens, Barry Bonds, etc because the game still merits a fun value. Look for the same from Peyton Manning and Drew Brees in the future.
  14. he either retired or he is staying for one more season
  15. No he did not retire. He is still on the depth chart for the Packers and I've heard him say he's staying another year. He is also contemplating on attending the Packer's Summer Camp. Bret Farve Rocks!!!
  16. The guy is like a yo yo. He won't retire this year and will play as long as they'll let him.
  17. No, he didn't. He's coming back next year and the Packers should be a pretty decent team. I think he's coming back because he is so close to breaking every one of Dan Marino's records.
  18. nope he will never retire lol
  19. your hubby is right, so plan on paying up!! he will indeed play one more season!!
  20. He's back, baby!
  21. HES BACK :)
  22. he didn't retire because he is in love with the game and he wants to make sure he broke Dan Marin's TD record and he wants to take green bay to the playoffs so they would have some hope the year after without him. so he is back and ready
  23. hes back
  24. Even though I'm a diehard Vikings fan, I'm a fan of Favre (no, not Green Bay). Yes, he is coming back. He should've retired, though. Perfect ending. Perfect way to go out.
  25. NO
  26. Brett Favre will be out there in a wheel chair throwing them bullets 20 years from now.Hell always have that arm!
  27. He didn't retire. There were reports that he was seriously thinking about it. Just last month reports came out that Favre wanted a trade but those were false. Probably good that he is back since Aaron Rogers is coming off the foot injury.
  28. He is coming back, and this year he will lead the Packers to another superbowl, the man is a for sure hall of famer, and the greatest QB to play the game, i cant wait to watch him this year as he leads the Packers to another Lombardi Trophy. GO PACK GO!
  29. Brett Farve will play yet another season. I feel bad for him, he should have retired years ago when he was an elite player in the NFL.
