If i immigrate to France do i still get my military (USN) retirement benefits ?

1. I believe that you do. You will probably have to fill out a gazillion papers though. You need to call your retirement office.
2. You can live anywhere in the world you want and you should still receive your retirement. But, why in the world would you want to go to France?
3. Yes . You earned them and they are yours no matter where you live.
4. You definitely should. I know of people having their Social Security checks sent out of country to them. They have no difficulty and neither should you. The only concern I would have are the health care benefits and where to see a doctor at there. Take care and enjoy your retirement!
5. You should, I don't know if they take Tri Care,or where you will locate a Commissary, but you should get your check. The French have a reciprocal agreement to treat Veterans but I believe that only applies to World Wars One and Two.
