Does Anyone Have any relatively simple cake ideas for a Spongebob style Luau ?
We have a back up plan of a spongebob cake from the supermarket. But we'd really like to make it ourselves, we were thinking of an erupting volcano cake, but its too complicated! Please post any ideas, recipes etc!

- make a spongebob cake out of a square cake pan with regular yellow cake mix and add a can of crushed pineapples to the mix..........use lemon frosting......it should be pretty easy.
- I love the idea of the volcano cake. They aren't that hard, really. - Make a dome shaped cake for Patrick's "Rock" house and use a real pineapple for Spongebob's house. Make squidwards Easter Island house out of cardboard if you can't find a Drink mug shaped like it.
- Aw, I was gonna suggest the store! Could you do something involving the Pineapple? You could even buy one just for decoration on the cake. "OHHH, who lives in a pineapple under the sea?!" LOL
