I am going to save 300 dollars every month who is with me!?

I am on a journey to save 300 dollars every month I got my 26 yr old sis to do the same! she wont touch it and she made me put it in something called disk or cd i dont know but she said money grow from it so who is with me! we can be rich in no time! yayyyy! i can be rich from just saving money yayyy! i know not rich but hey its better than nothing! im serious you can borrow off that. okz for the people who can't okz just set aside 100 ands people with kids 50 bucks will do a month. you can sell your kids toys on ebay, that can be your saving money! anything as long as its consistent and thats a great idea starting next year!!! woot! THANKS YOU GUYS! and camille4...i'm 16 and EVEN if i was 48 if I was not raised or taught to focus in the business workd about stocks and such how the heck would i know about that. that was a really stuck up and ignorant statement. grow up.

  17. Well I just save my money until after christmas and buy anything I didn't get that I wanted. I need to get a job too... I am only supposed to work summer because I am far too busy throughout the year, but I need some more cash in my pocket for food and essentials... I'm with you :)

  22. Great idea! Not enough people are saving any money, and they are really going to be in a bad financial position when they are older. p.s. a CD is a Certificate of Deposit.

  26. I do save more than $300 each month. By CD, I hope she meant "certificate of deposit". That is a kind of bank account. This has nothing to do with a "compact disk", which is also known by the acronym CD. You should try to learn a little bit more about financial terminology. Do not trust that your sister will manage your savings well. Learn at least enough so that you can understand what she is doing with your money and monitor it well.

  29. I am sooo with you. Another good thing to do earn allowance and every time I get 100 dollars in my wallet, I put it in my bank account. Saving money is great! There is also another way to earn lots of money. You can write a poem and then enter it on poetry.com
