- I love Davao on the island of Mindanao.
- cebu city. located in central philippines with the amenities of modern living yet it maintains the charm of provincial life.
- the best is at your wife's own hometown or if she has a province thats even better. And from there you can visit and explore more places in the philippines with ease.
- BOHOL central philippines, between cebu and negros... OR PALAWAN...the long island, the westernmost province...
- Leyte...of course! try to check our place.. u will like it for sure!
- BOHOL, PHILIPPINES http://www.bohol.ph/
- Baguio City... or Tagaytay City... both have cool weather, and are highly urbanized cities...
- My wife and I retired and moved to Iloilo City in 2002. We are located in region 6 (middle) so the cost of living is about1/3 lower than the big cities of Manilla and Cebu and we are not in "typhoon alley". We have many nice gated subdivisions and good medical care is availible here including one hospital with a cardiac unit. We have many nice hotels, resorts and resturants here. 5 major shopping malls with built in theaters and nice beaches aprox 25 min outside the city. Boracay beach is aprox a 4 hour drive.
