Philippines Retirement question?
How much do you think one needs to save to retire comfortably in the Philippines? If you could give me a break down of the costs that would be appericated. Thank you.

- I would estimate six thousand dollars a year of roughly - five hundred dollars per month. That's enough for food, rent and utilities. You need additional funds for medical expenses - amount depends on the level of medical attention that you need. Three thousand dollars per year is a minimum. - You can retire here and live comfortably anywhere except the big cities of Manilla or Cebu on $1,000 a month. That's excluding medical costs.
