Are you opting for early retirement? What are your plans after retiring?

1. As early as I can afford to, yes. Currently I would like to retire to the Philippines. But who knows? It may be 15 years or more before I could retire, my choices may be different then.

4. Right now, I'm planning on retiring at 55 because I could start getting my pension then. But I may retire at 50 and live off my savings until my pensions and social security kick in. I'd like to get the proper training and then volunteer as a debt counselor to help people get a handle on their finances. I'd also like to tutor kids or work in an adult literacy program.
5. after I retire, I'll either come back as a contractor or get a job at a local golf course cutting grass so I can have free golf :D :D :D
6. I like JOHN M's plan! That sounds like fun. Based on my savings so far (33 yrs old) and my income, I'm pretty much going to be working until I die.
7. i,m already retired ,the u.s military is paying my retirement benefits .
8. I plan on working until I am seventy at least. I watch a lot of people retire too early. They get board, fat and use up all their money. Then they are a burden on their kids. Not me! I am working till I drop.
