Game Ideas.?
I have often wondered this, Who comes up with the games of today? Somebody thought of them, who? Is there a team of thinkers? Like every gaming person, I too want to make my own game. Although, Programming is my true enemy. Took classes it ended badly. However I'm a good 3D modeler. If I wanted to I could get as far as making the characters, audio, world and animations. For my game Idea. But I lack programming talent. So is it possible to get a well known gaming company to checkout my models, sounds, animations, world, and story line with how the game is suppost to be. And see if they will fund my game and have their programmers use my models...etc to make my game? Of course that would mean they probably get half or more of the profit. I have only $4k to my name so just wondering what everyone thinks. I'm not really expecting anyone to trully know, I expect most to just tell me to contact companys and find out. But hey, I like to read your voices.

- they have huge teams that spend weeks making a person and story lines for games
- Maybe you should pack up your game ideas and arrange them in a file or something then find some game company and share part of your ideas to them, make them interested, i suppose after you get pick by them you don't need to be worrying about lack of programming talents? Or you can work together with friends that are master programmer. But thinking of that it must be a lot of work... Anyway good luck on that ! ps. Just some company I knew and i think they are quite well known All can be found using google.com : 1) AsiaSoft ( But i think most of their game currently are 2D) 2) Acclaim ( This one most of their game are 3D ^^) 3) Softnyx ( This one so far only got 3 games... I think.) 4) EnsembleStudio ( This one is quite famous, Their game like Age of Empire are well known ) 5) TQ Digital (This one also most of their game are 3D) 6) Outsparks ( This so far only get 2 games, even though on Beta but not bad.)
