can I find a job that can continue the military retirement time with the benefits without being in the service

1. federal employee, postal service, working at a federal jail. something to do with federal.
2. any federal job/DOD try looking www.usajobs.com however I think you can't start collecting till 65.
3. The New York City Police Department lets you buy your time back, they have a better retirement plan than the Military. All Federal Jobs.
4. Find you a good Civil Service Job, sign up for the Civil Service TSP, and buy back all your federal service time that they will let you buy back. it adds up for retirement. I am serving in the National guard and work as a Civil Service employee. a made my buy back and only need 27 more years for civil service retirement. You will not find any job with the same medical benefits as the military but the retirement and benefits are real good in the civil service job market. Just go to USAjobs.com and look for what you want.
